Steppenwolf

~ A Steppenwolf Sonnet ~
by Sue Combs

Could be but a rock group twas born to be wild... or a novel by old Herman Hesse. In Chicago, that name brings folks to their feet... every man, every woman and child.

Gary, Terry and Jeff, did you know what you'd start... with that theater down old Halsted way? Turned it's head, up it sat and gave a great gasp... "in your face" style set fire to your art.

Such talent spewed forth in those lean, hungry years... a powerful troupe became one. We are thankful for all the accomplishments made... alive with sweat, passion and tears.  ~ by Sue Combs
